Anne Linton
Wendy's Supa Sundaes

"The best thing that business people can do for their communities is to offer their time, knowledge and experience and being in business empowers them to do that."

Anne has been involved with the Wendy’s group for 20 years, initially as a business development manager. She has been a franchisee for the last 15 years, operating Wendy’s retail outlets at Bayside Shopping Centre in Frankston and the Karingal Hub. For the last two years Anne has operated the Wendy’s franchise at Langwarrin Gateway Shopping Centre.

She has lived in Langwarrin for 30 years with her husband Robert and has four children aged between 8 and 28 years.

Anne is involved in supporting her community in a wide variety of ways. She is:

  • Current president of the Elisabeth Murdoch College school council

  • Current president of the Woodlands Primary School council

  • She is involved in three or four subcommittees for each of these school councils.

  • Member Langwarrin Community Project steering committee, strategic planning committee and youth working party.

Anne is passionate about her community and believes that not enough business people 'give back' to their community.

In 2006 Anne was named Citizen of the Year for Frankston City which was fitting recognition of her commitment to and voluntary work for the Langwarrin community.
